AQUATIC AND FITNESS CENTER

Mon-Fri: 6am-9pm, Sat: 8am-6pm, Sun: 12pm-6pm

The Center is a multi-faceted facility that encourages people of all ages and fitness levels to participate in our programs. Our rates are a great value. The following is a brief description of our programs:

WEIGHT ROOM

The weight room is open to members only during the Center’s hours of operation. The weight room includes, Nautilus and Body Master components along with free weights and Dumbells. Cardiovascular room has treadmills, stairclimbers, Lifecycles and recumbent bikes, rowing machines with ergometers, and elliptical cross trainers. Weight room instruction is also available.


CHILDCARE

Babysitting service is available for members while they use the Center’s facility. Hours: Monday/Friday – 9:00am to 1:00pm
Monday/Thursday – 4:30pm to 7:30pm
Saturday – 8:00am to 11:00am


AEROBIC CLASSES   

Over 30 different classes offering a wide variety to choose from. With your membership you may attend as many classes as you like. Find the class that fits your needs. Yoga Fee: $6 for non-members taking yoga

NEW CLASS! – KIDS FUN YOGA 6 years – 15 years old


BEACH EXERCISE - FREE TO EVERYONE

Held Monday, Wednesday & Friday on the 5th Street beach
8:00am – 9:00am
Bring a towel and a friend

MARTIAL ARTS COURSE

    A class being offered for 7 year olds to adult
It features Master Mike Copeland, 4th Dan, with instruction in traditional Tae Kwon Do and Kuden Jutsu. 

Class times: Weds 7:30pm – 8:30pm, Fridays 6:00pm – 7:00pm

Personal Assessment Testing Program

A 12 week program, including body and fitness assessments
A personal training program set up for each participant by one of our certified personal trainers


SENIOR ACTIVITIES CENTER

In partnership with Shore Memorial Hospital/Connectiv we invite adults 55 years and older to participate in the activities at the Center. Pre-registration is necessary for the program

RAQUETBALL

Racquetball is available to members and non-members - A ee is required. Reservations my be made up to 48 hours in advance. An unlimited play card is available for a fee.


AQUATIC PROGRAMS

LEARN TO SWIM


The American Red Cross Learn to Swim program teaches youngsters to swim and be safe in, on and around water. We teach 5 progressive levels. Starting with Level 1 where the most (elementary) beginning swimming skills are taught, through Level 5 refining the competitive strokes

Registration: Spring – March 1
Summer – June 1
Fall – September 1
Winter – November 1


PARENT AND TOT

Parent participation is required. This class is designed to introduce and acclimate your young child to the water

    Instructors work with you at any level


PRIVATE & SEMI PRIVATE LESSONS

Adult & child individualized instruction

WATER EXERCISE            

We gave 4 different water exercise classes that are held daily, with evening and weekend classes. These classes are designed to increase flexibility, circulation and muscle tone, along with building your cardiovascular endurance. The water is used as resistance, which places less stress on the joints. Some classes utilize equipment along with exercises on the wall.


MASTERS SWIMMING

An organized swimming program for adult swimmers held every Sunday morning – 7:00am – 9:00am
Fee: $3.00 members - $6.00 non members


C-CERPANT SWIM TEAM           

A competitive age group swim team for children 6 – 18 years old. Practice Monday – Saturday according to swimmers level. Stroke technique and team spirit are a major part of the program. Contact Anne Merrill (609) 390-4869


ADAPTIVE SWIM TEAM

This program is designed for those individuals with disabilities in our community who will enjoy the freedom only water can give. Having fun is therapeutic.


POOL PARTY RENTAL        

Great fun for all ages
We provide the pool with a lifeguard and a room for refreshments
